BH Cosmetics is known for producing fairly decent quality products at a pretty affordable price. There are a ton of influencers who have partnered with the brand to create stunning palettes and brush sets that are to die for!
The palette, on its own, retails for $22.50 and includes 15 eyeshadows (10 matte and 5 shimmers), 3 highlights, and 3 contour shades. The 9-piece brush set retails for $24 and comes with 5 face brushes and 4 eye brushes. When the collab first released, you could purchase these as a bundle but I’m not sure if that option is still available. Typically on their website, however, they usually have some sort of sale going on so most likely you’ll never end up paying the original amount anyway.
I received this bundle for Christmas last year and have tested out a few different looks with it and I have to say I am impressed. The color choices seemed a bit random to me at first, and to be honest, it’s still a little scattered, but it works very well in its versatility.
The shadows are quite pigmented and when I used them on my eyes, they were very buttery and super easy to blend. The highlights in the palette are also beautiful and they definitely give a beautiful sheen to the face that I love! These shades specifically work well on top of each other if you’d like to layer them like I do and the contour shades work beautifully together, as well since as I do have to mix two for my perfect shade.
As for the brushes, they’re super soft and don’t shed when you wash them. For me, personally, I haven’t used 2 of them because they just aren’t the shape I typically use for what they are meant for. I do know The eye brushes are bomb and blend the shadows like a dream and the highlight brush is PERFECT. The rest of the brushes, like I said, are great I just personally have not gotten much use out of all of them on myself but the ones I have used I do like a lot.
Overall, this collection was definitely a win for me and if you’d like to see a few of the looks I would do with this palette just let me know! I’d be more than happy to put something together, both simple or dramatic.
have you tried this palette or anything else from BHcosmetics?
